Ok...so GET THIS!!!
Mark's consolidation chemo is scheduled to go on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of WEEK ONE of the next four months. So we found out today (as our first day back in the hospital) that there is no reason for him to even BE HERE on Tuesday and Thursday. AND because it's taken them so long to get going here today (we still haven't started) he won't be hooked up to the chemo until 4 or 5pm on those days. Sssoooo what is the great news??? We get to go HOME on Tuesday and Thursday morning after we see Dr. Caton and don't have to be back until the FOLLOWING DAY until 3 or 4!!!! Can you believe it????
WEEK THREE is still gonna be a 24/7 in patient thing most likely as that will be the time he's getting sick with fevers and rashes...but to be able to be halfway normal for the WEEK ONE of treatment is SUCH a blessing!!!
Guess I didn't need to pack so much stuff....

Wow what great news!! Except it kind of blows the hospital diet all to hell, doesn't it?
