We were at the doc's today and got Mark's blood counts. He's back to being neutropenic; all of his counts are super low. Good cuz the chemo is doing what it's supposed to do, but sucks cuz now we have to follow all the precautions and have to feel like "he has cancer" again. Normalcy was starting to feel...well, normal again. Dr. Caton seemed surprised that Mark still feels so well. He predicted that he'll be back in the hospital by Monday. I didn't have anything handy to throw at him unfortunately. It's not easy to be positive and hopeful that "it'll be different for us" when an experienced physician is so sure of an outcome.
We have an appointment for tomorrow afternoon to have a transfusion of platelets at the old hospital. Mark's are at 8 today and they were giving him transfusions below 10 when we were there before. So, he's probably past due. He also got a prescription for heavy duty anti biotics to try to prevent any possible infections...so that makes us feel a little better!
So, Prayer Warriors Activate!!! :D
Thanks all for your continued support and prayer for our family. We love you.

Don't forget that even though he is an experienced doctor and you trust his instincts and predictions, God is in charge, not him! Keep the faith...I will pray for you guys to be able to stay out of that hospital! Love you...and thanks for the beautiful card and cell phone lanyard! It made my day to get that from you. :-D
