Please take the six minutes to watch this video. Then turn around and share it with all the women in your life. Then ask them to share it with all the women in THEIR life. Spread the word and help our sisters stay healthy.
I had a mamogram in August due to a lump that was found in my left breast... nothing felt more out of place and more odd as I sat in a room of about ten other woman, all of whom were at the least, 15 to 20years older than myself.
I felt uncomfortable in that room that day, knowing I did not belong there... and yet, a lump in my breast challenged my senses as a mother, a wife, a sister, a friend... as a person...
God sure has taken my life this past year and just like a light cotton sheet on a comfortable bed, he shook me... rippled all aspects of who I am shaking off the wrinkles in my character, the dust from who I am and showed me just one more merciful moment...
I was blessed that day when the word came down that it was just an infected duct, it would self correct... and it did...
I just want to tell you, I have huge hooters, you see mine arriving before you see my face... and despite all, that mamogram machine, and all it's pressing, did NOT hurt me... so should fear ever play a factor for you... don't let the mamogram play apart in that.
